On 7-9 October 2022, the Institute of National Remembrance had the opportunity to present and promote the “Cyphers Game” at the Poznań Game Arena - the largest gaming fair in Poland and Central-Eastern Europe.

During the event, 2 VR and 4 PC stands awaited guests who visited our booth. Players could easily broaden their knowledge of the Polish-Bolshevik war and the influence of Polish cryptology on its victorious ending. Gamers not only had the opportunity to take on the role of the actual participants of the 1920 Polish-Bolshevik War, crack Bolshevik codes and activate communication devices dating back 100 years, but also to find out more about Polish history.

The Poznań Game Arena is an event with a 15-year-long history. This year alone, it was attended by  47,628 people. PGA is organized with both the industry and individual visitors in mind. During the event, leading gaming brands present their latest productions.

The world premiere of "The Cyphers Game" took place in April 2022 at one of the largest fairs for video game fans in the world - PAX East in Boston. "The Cyphers Game" created by the IPN Division of New Technologies is not only a gaming project, but also a useful tool for historical education.
