"Queue" at the game trade fair in Essen, 24–27 October 2013

On 24–27 October 2013 the international edition of the IPN's board game "Queue" was presented at the world's biggest game trade fair SPIEL 2013 in Essen, Germany. The game tells the story about hardships of daily life in the declining years of communism in Poland.

Many players from around the world were already familiar with the "Queue" and took the chance to talk with its author and see the live presentation of the game. The poster with a quote from "The Telegraph" attracted great interest as it said that "Queue" is ... the most boring game in the world, which has sold over 80 000 copies. Owing to the fair more "history lessons in a box" found their way to the remotest corners of the planet, including Australia.
