The study visit was carried out by the Polish Press Agency at the request of Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The participants included representatives of the Spanish scientific, cultural and art institutions. During the visit video material has been recorded which will be featured in a "Varsovia invicta"documentary, co-produced by the Ramon Llull - Blanquerna University.
The visit was of a research character. The participants wanted to get acquainted with Polish historical politics, ways of storing various forms of historical testimonies, making it available to different social groups, what methods are used for objective presentation of contrasting opinions about events and historical processes as well as what are the methods of cultivating remembrance.
On October 7th the delegation met with Renata Soszyńska, Deputy Director of IPN's Archives and Łukasz Michalski, Deputy Director of IPN's Public Education Office, who presented Institute's work, focusing on its archival and educational activities.
