On 29 October 2012 the second agreement has been signed between IPN and Mr. Sam Bryan, the son of the American photographer Julien Bryan.

The first agreement, signed on 3 September 2010, provided for creating in the Institute the “Julien Bryan Collection in Warsaw” . Owing to the new agreement the collection will be enriched with copies of the photographs taken by Julien Bryan in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics between 1930 and 1960. The IPN also plans to issue a publication with the newly gained copies of photographs.
