Opening of the exhibition "Help of Polish people for the Jewish population in Małopolska Province in the years 1939 - 1945 ", Chicago, November 4, 2012

Institute of National Remembrance Branch in Rzeszów, Poland, the Polish Museum of America, the Polish Consulate in Chicago and the Association of Polish Teachers in America organised opening of the exhibition "Help of Polish people for the Jewish population in Małopolska Province in the years 1939 - 1945 ", which took place on November 4, 2012 at the Polish Museum of America (984 North Milwaukee Avenue).

The exhibition was prepared by the staff of the Rzeszów IPN Branch. Thanks to extensive investigations carried out in the archives, museums and private collections, the exhibition is a collection of unique images, documents, and reports. The exhibitions boards present hideouts, which gave protection to the Jews. It also contains the information about the inhabitants of Rzeszowszczyzna involved in helping Jews, and that the Yad Vashem Institute in Jerusalem awarded the medal "Righteous Among the Nations" to. Exhibition was shown for the first time in the Main Square in Krakow in 2008, and I was viewed by many distinguished guests from the Poland and all over the world. Since then, the exhibition continues to interest people and was presented in several places - including in Israel.
