On September 4, 2012, at. 17.00 in Kiel in Germany, there will be a grand opening of the exhibition of the Institute of National Remembrance "The Expelled". The exhibition was prepared by the German-Polish Society in Kiel, during the Polish Days celebrations.
The exhibition recalls the forced deportations and expulsions that have affected Polish citizens during World War II, and which were carried out by the two occupants: Germans and Soviets. The exhibition also talks about the forced migration that occurred after 1945, as a consequence of the war.
The exhibition, in German version will be presented until September 27 in the headquarters of DGB Region KERN Regionalbüro Kiel, Legienstraße 22, 24105 Kiel.
