Sixth Polonia Meeting with Contemporary History

The already sixth Polonia Meeting with Contemporary History begun on 4 July 2012. The course, which will last until 13 July takes place in the House of Creative Work in Obory near Warsaw. 30 teachers and practitioners from 13 countries take part in the event, which has been organized by IPN’s Public Education Office.

During the Polonia Meeting the participants will take part in lectures introducing to the recent Polish history, find out about the yet unexplained events in our history. The workshop will teach how to actively communicate information to students about such subjects as emigration or the life of intellectuals in Polish People's Republic. In the evenings there will be "Polonia history film screeings", during which teachers will watch films related to the course.
