At the invitation of the Slovak Nation's Memory Institute and the Polish Institute in Bratislava Mateusz Szpytma, a historian of the Branch Public Education Office in Cracow, gave a lecture entitled "An attempt at collectivization of the Polish agriculture in the years 1948-1956 and the role of the United Peasant Party in the process".
The lecture was held on 10 May 2012 during the conference "Collectivisation in East-Central European countries. Images" with the participation of scholars from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania and Poland. The conference is accompanied by an exhibition and screenings of documentary and feature films about collectivization of agriculture.
