On February 23, 2012 the President of the IPN Łukasz Kamiński attended meetings organized by the Polish Institute in Bratislava and the Slovak Nanion’s Memory Institute (Ustav Pamäti Národa). President Kaminski met at ÚPN with its director dr Ivan Petransky, with whom he discussed the state of cooperation between the institutes as well as the possibilities of cooperation in the future. President of the IPN and the Director of ÚPN have subsequently delivered lectures on the activities and achievements of their respective institutions during the periodical meetings entitled "Discussion evenings of ÚPN" at the seat of the Polish Institute in Bratislava.
