On 22-23 November in Sofia a meeting of the European Network of Official Authorities in Charge of the Secret Police Files took place. It was hosted by the Bulgarian COMDOS (Committee for disclosing the documents and announcing affiliation of Bulgarian Citizens to the State Security and intelligence services of the Bulgarian National Army).

The Institute of National Remembrance was represented by Dr Łukasz Kamiński, President of IPN, Dr Krzysztof Persak, Director of the President's Office and Przemysław Gasztold-Seń of the IPN’s Public Education Office.

On the first day a working meeting of the Presidents was held, on the second - there was a round table discussion on "International Terrorism in the documents of the Communist Secret Services". During the panel Mr. Gasztold-Seń gave a paper entitled “Supporting or counteracting? Polish security apparatus and international terrorism during the Cold War”.
