On December 6, we celebrate Benefactors Day, as established by the general director of the National Archives. This is an initiative to honour those individuals, who have actively joined in contributing their most valuable family mementoes to the national archival repository.
On the occasion of this holiday, the Institute of National Remembrance would like to present from each branch office, the most interesting acquisitions given by our donors, in the engaging form of a 3D model. These will be published on our social media with a brief history of each of them. Each donor will receive a written note of thanks from IPN president, Dr Karol Nawrocki, for their contribution to the societally significant project, the Archive Full of Memory.
In this manner we would like to express our gratefulness for those individuals who have put their trust in the Institute and shared their own materials and documents from their loved ones, or – as sometimes happens – archival materials which came into their possession by chance.
We are exceedingly proud that over three thousand individuals from around the world have chosen the Institute as the place to commit their family treasures for safekeeping.
We invite you to discover the histories in the Archive Full of Remembrance.
