Apart from bringing two exhibits - "Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom" and "The Good Samaritans of Markowa," the IPN delegation to Argentina, led by President Karol Nawrocki and Deputy President Mateusz Szpytma, visited places important to the local Polish diaspora and the Argentinian nation, and linking these two.
One of these places was Antoni Sołowiej Polish Army Museum in Martin Coronado. Fathers Olaf Bochnak and Jerzy Twaróg showed the delegation around the institution that commemorates Polish WW2 veterans and Argentinian Poles who fought in the Falklands War.
The IPN group also travelled to the National Flag Memorial in Rosario, a monumental complex honoring the Argentinian state and nation. On the day of the visit, the Memorial curators flew the Polish flag on one of the masts.
Last but not least, the delegation with President Nawrocki and Deputy President Szpytma met with Poland's Ambassador Aleksandra Piątkowska and the embassy personnel, to reflect on previous cooperation of both institutions (such as the screening of the IPN documentary "Passports to Paraguay"), and discuss prospects for more joint enterprises.
On the last day of their stay in Argentina, the IPN delegation with Deputy President Mateusz Szpytma returned to Palacio Paz in Buenos Aires, where they'd opened the "Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom" exhibit three days before.
