The Director of the IPN Office of International Cooperation Agnieszka Jędrzak presented the Institute tasks, as well as the activities of its various substantive offices. Mateusz Marek, Ph.D., outlined the IPN „Trails od Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom” project and shared images from the exhibition which was unveiled in the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem in June 2023.  The guests declared a strong will to disseminate knowledge about Polish-Jewish relations among the young generations and suggested setting up IPN exhibitions in Ashkelon. Both parties agreed that the cooperation should also focus on raising awareness of the young generations about our history of the 20th century in order to build peaceful relations for the years to come. Therefore a plan of school classes exchange between Poland and Israel would be very helpful to spread the truth about our past.
