On 29 October 2022, the IPN Deputy President Mateusz Szpytma, Ph.D., took part in the meeting promoting the book "General Władysław Anders (1892—1970). Deeds and memory" in the Polish Library in London. The new IPN publication followed by a discussion was presented by its authors Prof. Boguslaw Polak, Ph.D., Prof. Michal Polak and Prof. Jerzy Kirszak.

The event was also attended by the Polish Ambassador to London Prof. Piotr Wilczek, Polish Ambassador to Rome Anna Maria Anders and the Polish Consul in London Anna Tarnowska-Waszak

Among representatives of the Polish community in London,Janina Tomaszewska, who at the age of 4 was exiled to Siberia in 1940 was present. In 1941, her father enlisted in the Polish Army under General Anders. She eventually settled in the UK after crossing Uzbekistan and living in Tanganyika for a few years.
