The Polish Institute of National Remembrance is launching a new periodical entitled “Polish-Jewish Studies”

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Polish Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) launches a new periodical called “Polish-Jewish Studies”. It will be a yearbook issued in the English language. Editorial duties of the chairman of the body will be performed by dr hab. Grzegorz Berendt prof. UG (University of Gdańsk/Museum of the Second World War). Moreover, the editorial office includes: dr Tomasz Domański (IPN Kielce – deputy chairman), dr Alicja Gontarek (UMCS/IPN – secretary), dr hab. Sebastian Piątkowski (IPN Radom – secretary), dr hab. Elżbieta Rączy, prof. UR (University of Rzeszów/IPN Rzeszów), dr Magdalena Semczyszyn (IPN Szczecin), dr Mateusz Szpytma (IPN vice-president).

We wish that „Polish-Jewish Studies” shall focus a wide range of researchers from different humane and social disciplines interested in 20th century period, for whom a common denominator will be the Polish and Jewish context.

We would like to invite you to send us texts for the first issue, the mission statement of which are the Polish-Jewish relations during the Second World War. We also encourage you to send us reviews, elaborations, polemics and texts for the Varia section dedicated to miscellaneous subject matter from the scope of the Polish-Jewish relations in 20th century.

We accept the texts in English, German and Russian as well as in Polish to 15th of March 2018. All detailed information can be found on the webpage ipn.gov.pl in the tab Polish-Jewish Studies.
