The publication is devoted to the history of Polish prisoners of war in Bolshevik captivity and, analogically, the history of the Bolsheviks in Polish POW camps. The issue of Bolshevik prisoners of war in Polish camps was to become - according to the administration of Mikhail Gorbachev - "Anti-Katyn". In addition to the historical background, the brochure explains why the topic  of prisoners of war has been so important in Russian historical propaganda.
