This bilingual (Polish-English) annual journal is dedicated to the history of the Jewish community in 20th-century Poland, preserving the memory of Polish Jews, and mutual and complex Polish-Jewish relations. As intended by the editors, the periodical serves as a forum for the exchange of current findings in the field of Jewish studies by researchers from various academic centers.

The content of the first issue mainly includes papers on the Second World War period, covering a whole spectrum of Polish-Jewish relations during this most difficult trial. Both negative and positive experiences are dealt with. The annual journal ends with reviews of notable and sometimes controversial research studies released in recent years, reports from historical conferences, and descriptions of projects aimed at preserving the memory of Polish Jews.

The first issue of the periodical is available below and in the IPN's Digital Library at przystanekhistoria.pl.
