It is a biography which depicts the complexity of both the history of Hungary and Europe in the first half of the 20th century.

Pál Teleki (1879–1941) is one of the 20th-century Hungarian politicians who is most often mentioned in public debate alongside with the leader of interwar Hungary, Miklós Horthy. Two-time Prime Minister, minister, tireless organizer, Teleki skillfully combined the role of a researcher, ideologist and educator. He is one of the figures which are most closely associated with the recent history of Polish-Hungarian relations.
