Documents from the IPN Archive exhibited at the Romanian Embassy in Warsaw.

On 1 October 2019, a ceremony was held at the Romanian Embassy in Poland in connection with the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda. The Institute of National Remembrance was one of the partner organizations of the event. The Institute's Archive was represented by Director Marzena Kruk and Grzegorz Trzyna, Head of the Department of Archival Resource Management.

In connection with the ceremony, the Archive of the IPN prepared an exhibition of original documents related to Polish refugees in Romania during World War II. The exhibition also included photographs taken during the funeral ceremony of Marshal Józef Piłsudski, in which soldiers of the Romanian 16th Infantry Regiment participated.

The above mentioned archival documents are also to be presented in a documentary prepared by Romanian television. In connection with the project, Marzena Kruk, the Director of the IPN Archive, gave an interview on the tasks, mission and resources of the Archive.
