The Danuta Siedzikówna "Inka" Association of Polish Veterans and Repressed Persons was established on the basis of the Solidarity Union of Polish Veterans and Repressed Persons Gdynia District. It was registered under its new name in the National Court Register on 27 November 2021. On the same day, the founding meeting of the Danuta Siedzikówna "Inka" Association of Polish Veterans and Repressed Persons was held. Jerzy Kowalczyk ,who continues to hold his position until today, became the President of the association. The main goal of the Association is to unite the veteran communities.

Anti-Communist opposition activists, the repressed from the Pomeranian Voivodeship, including veterans and victims of totalitarian regimes of the post-war period, have been striving for their Association to be named after Danuta Siedzikówna "Inka." This is due to the fact that for many people "Inka" is a very special figure and a rolemodel example of how to live and die for one's Homeland.

Danuta Siedzikówna "Inka" was born in 1928. At the age of 15 she took the Home Army oath. In June 1946, she was sent to Gdańsk, where she was arrested by the Security Services. She was sentenced to death on 3 August 1946 by the Military District Court headed by Major Adam Gajewski. The sentence was carried out on 28 August 1946.
