On Tuesday, 7 November 2017, representatives of the IPN met with a four-member delegation of the Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea. It was chaired by the Head of the Center for North Korean Human Rights Records, which plans to soon create an index of people repressed by North Korea. The guests met with Deputy Directors of the IPN Archive, Dr Mariusz Żuławnik and Mariusz Kwaśniak, as well as Izabela Sienkiewicz from the Office of National Education and Marek Hańderek from the Historical Research Office. Our guests had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activities of the IPN, with particular emphasis on the functioning of the Archive, the work of the scientific and educational divisions. They were particularly interested in the database of persons repressed by the Third Reich and the Soviet Union. This was the third visit of representatives of the Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea at the IPN this year.
