Official opening of the exhibition „The Massacre of Lviv Professors. Wuleckie Hills 1941” in front of the European Parliament – Brussels, 30 August 2016

On 30 August at. 18.30 at the esplanade Solidarność 1980 in front of the European Parliament a ceremonial opening of the exhibition "The Massacre of Lviv Professors. Wuleckie Hills 1941 " was held The organizers of the exhibition are the branch of the IPN in Wroclaw and Ryszard Legutko MEP.

The exhibition was prepared on the 70th anniversary of the murder of Lviv professors in the Wuleckie Hills. It consists of modules arranged on a rectangular plan with dimensions of 8m x 11m. The individual modules blocks are devoted to specific issues: place of Lviv o the Polish pre-war map, actions of occupants intending to liquidate the Polish elite, manifestations of the special bond between Lviv and Wroclaw.

Figures of murdered professors were shown in 13 individual blocks modeled on granite slabs, arranged inside a rectangle formed by other elements of the exhibition. The photographs of the murdered professors and their biograms were placed there.

The exhibition was prepared in four languages: Polish, English, German and Ukrainian.

The exhibition will be accessible to public by mid-September.
