The exhibition will be presented from 4 to 24 October 2013 at the University of Ottawa (Pavillon Desmarais, 55 Laurier Ave East)

The opening of the exhibition on October 4 was preceded by an introductory lecture by Dr. Mateusz  Szpytma,  IPN Branch Office in Krakow, the author of the exhibition. The event was accompanied by "Price of Life" documentary directed by Andrzej Baczynski (Arts Building, 70 Laurier Avenue East, Room 033 - Amphitheatre). For more details please check the invitation.

The exhibition takes place at the invitation of Ambassador of Poland in Canada, HE Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz. It is organized by the Embassy of the Republic  of Poland , Department of Modern Languages ​​and Literatures and the Slavic Research Group, University of Ottawa, Canadian Chairmanship of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance and The Shoah Committee of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa. Presentation of the exhibition is a part of this year's Holocaust Education Month in Ottawa.

The exhibition "The Samaritans from Markowa," which was first presented in Warsaw on March 24, 2010 (later in many places in Poland and in Munich, Germany) is a joint effort of the Institute of National Remembrance, Central Agricultural Library, Museum of the Polish Peasant Movement, National Center for Culture. It is organized under the honorary patronage of Zvi Ravner, Israeli Ambassador to Poland, Archbishop Jozef Michalik, Archbishop of Przemyśl and President of the Conference of the Polish Episcopate, the Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich and Waldemar Pawlak, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and the then Minister of Economy of Poland.
