Event Name In September and October of 2013 all of the reading rooms of the IPN Archives will be closed
Start Date 26th May 2013 11:38am
End Date 27th May 2013 11:38am
Duration 1 day
Description

Due to the necessity of moving out from its current headquarters at Towarowa 28 Street in Warsaw and resulting from that – disruption in access to the electronic databases describing the archival collections of the IPN, we are sorry to inform that in September and October of the current year – all of the archival reading rooms of the IPN in both Warsaw and all other branches and offices of the Institute. The reason for such measures is the necessity of moving the IPN servers, where the databases are located – to a completely new location.

All of the reading rooms of the institute will be opened during the vacation time. The working hours also remain the same.

From the mid-October the readers will be able to use our new, and temporary File Reading Room in the IPN’s Janusz Kurtyka Educational Center “Station History” at Marszałkowska 21/25 Street. The reading room of the Warsaw branch of the IPN located at Plac Krasińskich 2/4/6 will be operating without any changes (apart of course from the major lockdown in September and October).
