Description

On 15-17 March 2013, the President of the Institute of National Remembrance Dr.. Lukasz Kaminski was in London on a delegation. The highlight of the visit was the opening of the IPN exhibition “The Phenomenon of “Solidarity”. Pictures from the History of Poland 1980–1981" which was held in the Polish Social and Cultural Association. During the stay in London Dr. Kaminski also met with Witold Sobkow, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, and attended meetings with representatives of the Polish circles abroad – the management of the Polish Underground Movement Study, management of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association acting Abroad and Director of Archives of the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum. During the meeting in the Polish Library the President of IPN gave a lecture entitled "IPN - current challenges".


The exhibition was prepared by the Public Education Office of Institute of National Remembrance and runs from Monday, 18 March until Thursday, 4 April 2013. Opening hours daily: from 10 am to 9 pm.
