The Ministry of National Education and the Institute of National Remembrance presented the latest educational materials on World War II for the school year 2019/2020
The joint press conference of the Minister of National Education Dariusz Piontkowki and the President of the Institute of National Remembrance Dr. Jarosław Szarek during which the latest educational materials on the fate of Poles during World War II will be presented was held on the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Russia's aggression on Poland – 17 September at 1.00 p.m., at the Janusz Kurtyka Educational Center of the IPN (ul. Marszałkowska 21/25).
During the conference cooperation between the Ministry and the IPN in the field of education was discussed in connection with the beginning of the new school year. New teaching proposals on the latest history of Poland, alongside with the main assumptions about teacher training and wider availability and use of thematic portals created by the Institute, were presented as well.
During the conference, several dozen history teachers took part in workshops with the use of the latest educational portfolios of the IPN and the educational game "Polish Underground State".
