On 21-22 February 2019, at the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS) in Paris, a conference "La Nouvelle École Polonaise de" la Shoah " was held.

In recent days, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the French Republic Fédérique Vidal addressed a letter to the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin, in which she made several accusations also against the IPN, which are not in line with to the actual course of events during the conference.

In connection with the statements contained in the letter, the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, following the IPN’s request to the President of EHESS Christophe Prochasson to provide the official recording of the whole debate, also addressed a letter to the French Ministry of Higher Education regarding the actual course of events at the Paris conference.
