On 27 September 2018, at 9:00 am, a press conference organized by the IPN and the Foundation for Polish-German Reconciliation will be held at the IPN’s “History Point” Educational Centre (Warsaw, Marszałkowska 21/25).
During the meeting, the goals and tasks of the Center for Information on the Victims of World War II, which has been functioning within the structures of the IPN Archive since 2014, will be presented. The Center's website (ofiary.ipn.gov.pl), which premiered on 1 September this year, will also be shown.
The second part of the conference will be devoted to the project entitled "Casualties of War and Victims of Repression under German Occupation", implemented by the Foundation for Polish-German Reconciliation, and an updated version of the straty.pl. website will be presented.
The conference will be attended by: Dr Jarosław Szarek - President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Marzena Kruk - Director of the IPN Archive, Ewa Wójcicka - employee of the Center for Information on the Victims of World War II and Jakub Deka - Chairman of the Foundation for Polish-German Reconciliation
