Thanks to the efforts of the Polish Embassy in Mexico, the IPN "Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom" exhibition was opened in the prestigious Matías Romero Institute, which is considered one of the best schools within the Public Administration at a federal level in Mexico City.

In November 2023, the IPN President Karol Nawrocki, Ph.D., inaugurated the "Trails of Hope" exhibition at the National Museum of Intervention in Mexico, a country that became safe haven for many Polish exiles during World War II. The same exhibition was also presented in the Museum of León in Guanajuato, Mexico. The project "Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom" follows the journey of over 116,000 Polish servicemen and civilians who managed to leave the USSR with General Anders in 1942, as well as the combat trail of General Maczek’s 1st Armored Division. The enterprise objective is to educate international audiences on the Polish will and commitment to free Europe from totalitarian regimes.
